Chair of Mechanics and Acoustics

Audio and acoustics - study with us in a practical way - bachelor's degree in "Audio and Acoustical Engineering"

Description: The field of acoustics has experienced rapid development due to the constantly growing demands on the quality of products and the protection of people from noise that is harmful to health. The professional field of the acoustician is very diverse and extends from the specialist area of mechanical, vehicle and aircraft construction to the specialist area of structural engineering and medical technology. For this reason, our graduates work in the most well-known companies in Germany. The constant feedback with these companies shows us that well-trained acousticians are urgently needed in the industry at the present time and also in the future. The course was fundamentally modernized again in 2022 and given a more appropriate name: "Audio and Acoustic Engineering". By the way, the previous name was "Media- and Acoustical Engineering".
