In order to describe the dynamics of laser-induced processes we model the time-dependence of thermophysical parameters being a pragmatic and acceptable approach. The interaction of ultrafast laser radiation with condensed matter we appl ythe Two-Temperature model (TTM), with parameters like laser fluence, and the the optical parameters of the investigated material.

Especially the description of the optical and thermophysical properties of most materials is often only given at stationary normal conditions, but laser-induced processes represent nether stationary nor normal conditions, being itsel dynamic values. This implies, that also these parameters have to be modeled and then be included into the TTM.
