Pump&Probe Photography

Laser ablation is, even investigated since decades, still a hot topic in R&D. E.g. the ablation of thin films with ultrafast laser radiation shows deviation from classical descriptions of laser ablation with two ablation regimes, so called gentle and strong ablation regimes. 

Applying sytematically space- and time-resolved investigations by 

we detect the dynamics of optical parameters of metals, dielectrics and semiconductors throughout their phase changes.
